Dan E. Čalogović, better known as Dan Elwood, the lead singer, guitarist and blues harp player, brings his own unique style to the band’s sound. He is well known as one of the most expressive, old-school blues harp players in Switzerland and Croatia. His musical roots include legendary artists such as The Blues Brothers, Ray Charles, Eric Clapton, and Elvis Presley, among many others. Along with covers of classic songs, the band also performs original compositions by Dan Elwood himself.

With a talented lineup featuring Michele Limina on bass, Michael Wegmann on drums, and of course Dan Elwood, the Twisted Smoke Band is renowned for their electrifying live performances. The band has played numerous concerts in and around Zürich, Switzerland, entertaining crowds of all ages and musical tastes.

From 2014 until 2019, Dan Elwood was based in Zagreb, Croatia where he continued to perform and connect with audiences. His passion for music has taken him around the world, and he brings that experience to each and every performance.
